COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE 'tr..07 PAUL E.ZELLERBACH DISTRICT ATTORNEY OPERATIONAL AGREEMENT Fiscal Years 2012/2015 This Operational Agreement stands as evidence that the DIVISION OF VICTIM SERVICES OF THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE and the BEAUMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT intend to work together toward the mutual goal of providing maximum available assistance for crime victims and witnesses residing in Riverside County. To this end, each agency agrees to participate in the program by coordinating/providing the following services: I. The Division of Victim Services will closely coordinate the following services with the BEAUMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT through: • Project staff being readily available by phone during business hours to provide services to victims when referred by Beaumont Police Department personnel; • Regularly scheduled meetings between the two agencies to discuss strategies and review referral and communications systems; II. The BEAUMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT will refer victims to the program for services. These referrals will be made within 48 hours to ensure that the needs created by crime are met. This will be done by telephone or by forwarding face sheets of crime reports,to Division of Victim Services staff; We,the undersigned,as authorized representatives of the DIVISION OF VICTIM SERVICES and the BEAUMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT, do hereby approve this document.
